Camping Out!

This past weekend some friends and I had a little overnight camp out. It was so much fun, we made chicken patties and hot dogs and it was all delicious but the best part was the squeezies drinks they are so yummy! We are kind of addicted right now, but for a good reason they are all sorts of delicious. So we pitched our tent (with no instructions, but we figured it out) it was awesome there was three pieces that connected together, it was freaking great that way we could talk to each other (like a family :) ) My BBL Brit and I bought some footie pj's a little while ago and we put them to use, even though they are so toasty.. and of course we had to take some pics (that are priceless) they truly brought out the kids in us. I don't think that have worn any since I was a child, the only disadvantage to them is the temperature change, one minute you are hot (so you take off blankets) and the next you're cold so you cover back up.. There a pain but so worth the fashion statement!!


The next morning we made bacon, sausage and chocolate chip waffles (which I had never had before) that were so yummy. Soon after it was time to get all cleaned up so we could get ready for the work week ahead of us :( . I didn't want it to be over but every good thing has to come to an end, but here are some pictures :).

Great Season WIG!

Congratulations Wasatch! What a great season and such a fantastic experience. I had so much fun this season, getting to work with Sumer, Cory and Tiffany was an experience I will never forget. We had an amazing show this year and without them it wouldn't have been what is was, plus I am so fortunate to have worked such funny and talented people. I wish that the season didn't have to end, I have made friends that have made me a better teach and become closer with the friends that I already had.  I can't believe how much fun we had this year and one of the reasons it because of the girls. I know that I have said this before but they really are so talented and funny people, and even though we had girls leave us in the beginning and am grateful that they did cause the girls that replaced them were awesome! This year I became closer with girls that we taught, they made it all worth it to go to guard Wednesday night and early Saturday mornings.

This past weekend we had our State Championships, they did so good. It was kind of nerve racking that it was going to be there last performance I wanted them to do well. Prelims they took 1st and did great, but when finals came around the sadness started to set in. I didn't want it to be over, but during WIGs final performance it didn't matter as much that is was all over they made me so proud. During the performance i felt myself start to tear up then I started to think back to where we start and how far we have come along and how much fun we had getting there. Wasatch had an amazing show we were all so proud of them, now all we had to do is wait to see what the judges thought........ And they must of thought it was good cause our score improved about 3 points and 1st overall. It was gold medals of us, and man did they serve it. So here are so pics of our crazy Wasatch family. :)

Congrats WIG!!

Congrats Wasatch! Well done girls, I love you all. We only have one competition left then sadly the season is over, but I'm exicted for next year! You guys are so talented and funny and lets rock it again on saturday!

Represent the 801!

I am so excited to go to Cali this weekend, it will be so exciting and probably one of the most remember able experiences of my life thus far. I'm also kind of nervous for our girls but they are so talented and have worked so hard that I know that they are going to do awesome! (cause they deserve it). I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to work with such fun and talented girls "they are winners :)" I have been given such a great opportunity to learn from such great leaders, Sumer, Cory and Tiffany have taught me so much and this year would not be the same without them. If there was one phrase that describes this experience it is "learning from the masters", cause they truly know there stuff. I hope that  I get the chance to work WIG next year, it is such an escape from the real world and I love leaving the world outside the door and being refreshed by people that I love to be around and that love guard too. Now let's go and scare some judges and our opponents!!

Bieber Fever!!

So I don't know how he does it but I possibly have Bieber Fever!! So Kelsy, Jordyn and I went and saw "Never say Never" and it was actually a good movie. We were the only ones in the theatre and we definitely took advantage of it. It was alot of fun, but seeing it with great friends is always a plus. One of the main reasons it was so awesome it that we saw it in 3D! It was like we were actually there LOL:) But needless to say we loved it!

Hey ladies great job last night, you guys are awesome! We might have to warm up to Justin Bieber all the time! (just kidding) but seriously. Can't wait for this weekend, lets rock Union City! Represent the 801 LOL:) Love you guys!

The Beginning of 2011

So this year has been actually been okay. I have the best friends and I could'nt ask for better ones. They are so much fun even though it might seem lame, we always make it our own no matter what. Already this year I kind of feel left behind, more friends are moving on and sometimes I feel like I'm not. Don't get me wrong I love where I'm at, but sometimes I just wonder what my life would be like if I wouldn't have changed and I would have just stayed on the path that I was on.  Someone once said that "It's not the destintaion, it's the journey", but sometimes I would just like to know what the outcome will be, cause no fortune teller could have predicted my life (or maybe they could). I could have got my patriarchal blessing and they I know that would have helped, but considering the circumstances I just dont feel right about it. Sometimes I just don't understand some people, they are so judgmental but they know that their god still loves them, but if I do one wrong thing that he doesn't love me or except me for who I am. I know that some will never understand, and that is okay, but don't treat me different because of it. Also don't try and change my mind if I want to change I will I just don't see it in my future right now. No one reads this so it doesn't even matter that I just babble on about my life and write my frustrations out, but sometimes just writing is enough..
